Box In a random place on the sheet, draw a box with sides, parallel to the page's edges, and then draw a box with a diagonals parallel to page edges. In addition, draw a few boxes with another side inclination. Circle Draw a box and inside it sketch a circle--start with a thin line then increase pencil pressure and curviness. You can do this exercise without drawing a box by just sketching marks. Four Polygon Star Draw a box. Find the middle of each side, put marks there and connect marks with thin lines. Divide each of those into 4 similar parts. Connect the dots you get each to other and with tops of a big box, as shown below. Correct the image you get--find mistakes--badly-balanced parts, un-straight lines and so on. Curves I recommend that you practice drawing curves a lot. There are different possibilities; for example, those you see on the picture below.
