Rhetorical and existential questions aside, Macromedia is certainly one of the leading, most innovative and aggressive graphics software companies around, so when they introduce a graphics product designed for Web designers...well, we've got to take a close look, don't we?

Windows 95 or NT 4.0:

• Pentium 120 or faster processor (Pentium 166 MMX recommended)
• 32 MB of RAM (more recommended)
• 60 MB available hard-disk space for installation (100 MB free recommended)
• 640x480, 256 colors on screen (1024x768, millions of colors recommended)

Macintosh:

• Power Macintosh CPU (604/120 or greater, 603/180 or greater, or G3 750 processor recommended)
• MacOS 7.5.5 minimum
• 24 MB of free RAM with virtual memory on (more than 32 MB of RAM with virtual memory off recommended)
• 60 MB available hard-disk space for installation (100 MB free recommended)
• 640x480, 256 colors on screen (1024x768, millions of colors recommended)
