Answer: There is no guarantee that it will be in the top of the listings, nor that you will get a substantial amount of traffic from the link, should they include one. If, on the other hand, you wish to make some money on your site, and don't mind spending some money to get your site listed faster, then it may not be a bad way to go. The normal listing process is the same, it just takes longer and is thus free. Other search engines require you to pay a fee in order to be listed.
Again, this simple depends on how much you intend to spend on promotion, and how important it is for you to be listed
