Sometimes, when I go to a site and choose to play a flashcartoon, the cartoon will sometimes lag when it plays.
Sometimes it will pause for several seconds or even more.
Is the problem with my system or software? Or is it a sever-side problem? I need to know. I love watching flash cartoons online!!!

What speed is your internet connection?

I have a regular 56K dial-up modem connection. I thought that as long as the movie had loaded before playing there would be no problem. Do you suggest that it I need a faster connection?
What is probably happening is this: the flash file preloads part of the file before it is displayed. You are able to watch that without a problem. But, when the preloaded part is finished, if the movie is any length, the part that was not preloaded will probably not download as fast as you are watching it. Once you reach the point up to where the file has not downloaded yet, you will notice the lag.

I understand. Would a faster connection (dsl, cable modem)
keep the remainder of the cartoon streaming correctly? Also, is this the same when watching a video file?
It would certainly help. There is still no gaurentee that you will receive the file at the same speed or faster than you are watching it, but it would definitly be faster than dial-up.

Once it's fully loaded (He's watched it all the way through with the pauses) If he watches it again, shouldn't it be OK the second time since it would be cached?
