Hi,
I have been trying to put screenshots into my site, but the quality is quite poor. I came across a site http://www.interactivepublishing.ne...mber/browse.php with nice screenshots and each one is less than 15,000 bytes. How can I get shots like that. I have tried the free screenhunter, and I end up having to rescale the image in GIMP to get good quality, but with a huge number of bytes....so too long to download the page. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

You could take a normal screenshot using the Print Screen key, then paste it into Photoshop, and then, using the "crop" tool (keyboard C), with the specified resolution you want (options are in the toolbar), cut the piece you want to show, press Enter, and then save it as .png (File...Save for Web).

Actually I don't have photoshop just now (would it be a free download?) I use Gimp - I wonder if I can do it there... Thanks.
