There's a domain I'm interested in that expires in 3 days according to a WhoIs search. I understand there's a 75 day grace period once the domain expires.

Do I attempt to snatch the domain in 3 days? or in 78 days when the grace period is finished?

If you want to search after alternate domain name just try myDomainTracker (http://www.mydomaintracker.net)

The best is to start in redemptition period ... just read the doc ...

Hey Adrian,

I've read Mike's article before, but the article didn't really say if he used Pool.com before the domain expired, or before the redemption period expired.

In redemptition period is logical. Because the domain cannot be reserved until is fully expired. You need to wait to se if he's proprietary is paying until redemptition. If the domain will be in redemptioption you will have 80 % chance to snatch this domain. Also is possible to have another persons what want to bid for this domain ...
