Making sure my pics can't be saved by someone else

Hi, I am wanting to make my pictures unaccessable to anyone else. Example, when they right click on the picture, they won't be able to save it to their computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There are many ways to get around any type of settings you might implement. (Ahem... I've used a few in the past.) You might forego scripting and instead apply a watermark to your images.

Web browsers ALWAYS download images BEFORE they display them so by the time your visitor views your page they already have their own copy of your images (if they know where to look). To stop people from being able to download them don't put them on the web. If you want tp discourage theft then make sure the images are properly optimized for the web and watermark them.

create a transparent image the same size as the one you want to prevent being lifted, and position the transparent image OVER the protected one in your html. Therefore, a right-click/save will only snag the 'transparent' image.

This is not foolproof, as the 'beneith' image also resides on the visitor's computer. But it makes the novice person (the most likely to want to steal your image craft, as any 'pro' would take pride in his/her work and create their own and ot steal it) unable to figure it out...
Anyone can look at the code and see the path to your images and take 'em that way, though... (like I said, not foolproof protection)

yeh or they could just Prnt Scrn and paste, would be alot easier, there isnt really a great of protecting ur images besides watermarks, but thats it u can find ways around the others
