Have you found that your rss feed has brought your website more traffic? If so, where did you submit your rss feed? Or, how did you make your rss feed known to others who might be interested in using it?

I've tried feedburner without seeing any benefit after about a week. Anyone have any recomendations?

RSS is mainly a data exchange mechanism, not so much a traffic generator although it most certainly can do so. Have you tried pinging Technorati?
