Flash Intro Help

I want to make an intro... of course. But Im making a movie instead of the regular one...but I want to have a skip intro in it...is there a way that I can make a flash intro with a movie in it and a skip intro?

Question, the movie you are trying to use, is it mpg or windows media?
You can now create swish movies from mpg or window media files.
If you created a swish movie I would think that you could import the swish movie into your flash intro.
Backup, I use swishzone products to create my flash files, swf.
Not sure what other features other software companies offer.

So you want a .swf intro with a skip intro button?
Couldnt you link it to a "track"?

With my VERY LITTLE experiance with flash, I am not really sure

well um I never thought of .swf never used it before...

i thought, that if it is a flash intro, you simply have that 'skip intro' button link to the destination html/php/cfm page that after the intro was done, it would go too.

Now if you are doing a full flash website, you just have the skip intro button move to a further point in the movie, ie the main flash page.

now, instead of using macromedia flash to make a flash movie, you should really go to theswishzone, and get swish, it does the same thing but it has alot of nifty animations and propertys already coded in, and for a flash dummy like myself who knows just enough to eek by, it works wonders.

ok I got the swishmax thing...how do I make a loading bar...like on the GTA games?

Ok Im gonna ask for alot of help because the tutorials suck...I want to make a loader like i said before. SwishMax is the program! Umm...How can I make an image fly in stop,then transform to another image then fly and stop, transform, then fly out of scene. Then Im sure I can make the image fly in from the center (zoom whatever) but how do I stop it. Then I need to know how to skip it?

there is no way to have an image transform into anther without actually making it in a flas editor, you can have it fade from one image into another though. what you need to work with is the timeline, have an item outside of the window say far to the left, and then make another point in the time line, and move it to where you want it to be, adjusting the time that it takes for this to happen will make it happen faster or slower on the time line.

once the image zooms all the way up, just have that be the last moment of the animation, that is all.

and as stated read above. about skipping the animation process.

as far as a loading screen, you might want to check out deviantart.com and see if they have a tutorial on that, or a free *.fla file [flash object] with it done for you, and just implement it.

think you select the area with the area(?) tool and designate it to be a link rather than just text
