I'm still a little new at doing HTML, it's just a fun hobby of mine for me and my photos. My question is this, I'm trying to figure out how to have a gallery of my photos and have thumbnails, but get the picture to show larger above the thumbnail, but on the same page. I've seen this in a couple of Photographer's websites, but not sure how they do it. What kind of Program would you use with that, and how would you use it?

One of my favorite resources is http://www.dynamicdrive.com

We use a photogallery on a lure site for our hotel site.
here is the link http://www.oldorchardinn.ns.ca/gallery.htm
I am not sure what program it was my associate used, but I think it cost around $50.
It allows for script to follow with photos and other nice features.
If this is what you are looking for then let me know and I will find out where we got it
for you.
There is an excellent one using CSS over at WebReference.com (http://www.webreference.com/programming/css_gallery2/index.html)
You can also find several galleries like you are looking for atJavaScript Source (http://javascript.internet.com/image-effects/)

Photoshop comes with Bridge which is photo gallery feature. The easiest way is to use FilmStrip view on your windows explorer!

HI
Two of the most popular galleries are coppermine and gallery2. Both of these have many options and can be installed and integrated into your current website.
