3 questions...

Hi multimedia gurus,

I have 3 questions.

#1 How do I make a video clip play when clicked on (clicking on the screen itself as opposed to the ugly play controllers)

#2 How do you make the first frame OR an temp image available instead of a black screen for noautostart?

#3 Is it possible to have another player besides the ugly windows media player? I think some mentioned using quicktime even for .wmv

look into flash. you can pretty much turn the video into whatever you want.

Wimpy is interesting and something I had not heard of before. However it requires you to convert from .wmv to flash etc.

I'm looking to keep everything native .avi .wmv etc. Just package it neater somehow.

No, you just need to convert the file formats to MP3. The Flash is build into the program itself. It takes care of all that. I have used it my self. You just convert the files to MP3, choose a skin for the player, and upload. That's it. You can read a review I wrote of it here (http://www.webreference.com/reviews/wimpy/)

(You can also block downloads to the cache, if you like. )
