I have embedded 3 super small quicktime movies into my index page of my site. I wish to remove the blue "Q" for Quicktime that displays while my movies are loading. I have looked thru so many tags none of which control the loading screen. Does anyone have a clue how to display nothing until the movie loads?

Believe it or not, -use a QuickTime alternative! Something that emulates QT, but is not.
I use one such myself. It does use the QT files/engine, -whatever it is called, but I loathe QuickTime. It is fat, bloated, clunky and now that it is married to iTUNES, I loathe it even more. QT has not been 'okay' since two or three versions ago. I keep mistakenly allowing my computer to 'automatically update' programs, including QuickTime. I just recently did that again, -an as usual, had lock-screen and fatal errors when trying to view some QT files... So I un-installed it, and got 'an alternative'. -No problems since!

I myself detest QT as well. I am using dreamweaver mx. I want only to play 3-5 80x80 10 second video clips on the index page on a loop. I don't want to force people to download something just to view the movies as well. And I do not want to turn them to flash instead. That triples the sizes of the files even after compressing the movie. I don't want controllers or anything. Here is the link to the index's test page I am using. I want it exactly the same as here minus the QT load page. If this is possible with a different multimedia player then definately please let me know. http://home.ntelos.net/~jesswartz/Pages/indextest.html
