Hi!
Is there a way by which I can make a file downloads secretly when a visitor visits my webpage. i do not like any prompt messges to appear. I just thought that this might be possible by doing some sort of scripts ...
Please let me know if yes and how...

Security issues, you can't do this with javascript and I'm sure people will say the same. If its something fundamental that is useful to the user then a prompt should be your only bet.

Well..aside from the regular "cookies" and basic stuff needed for a web page I certainly would not appreciate having any files downloaded into my computer without my knowledge...try to think of your visitors...would you like it if some odd programs were loaded into your computer without your permission?

If you secretly downloaded a program to my computer, I would track you down and umm I better not say it here. You can fill in the blank.
