Customize A Video Window?

Can I make my own video window???
persay: play,stop,rewind,fast foward, etc. my own images... and the surrounding thing around the movie is also my own... is this possible or am I dreaming?

All that is possible. I'm kind ov a newbie so I won't say too much. But, I think you can use flash or maybe director to customize the feel of the player. Sorry, it's not more, and it may not be right. I found an article yesterday while searching for embedding player info online. Good Luck :)

Oh please don't hold me to this. I've been thru so many pages trying to figure out how to do what I need that the info may be jumbled in my head. But maybe Macromedia's Director. I know I read that what you want can be done. I'm just not sure how.
