dave- I inserted a property variable value=$50.00 for the first checkbox, its till didn't work. I keep receiving an error message that f. is not an object,its null.

the error you are referring to, means that the "f" object is not initilazed,Is it possible to post your code so that I can take look, and return to you with an clearer answer...:-)
