transparent scrollbars?

hii,, i was redesigning my site and i came across a problem.. when i was entering values for scrollbar colors i put "transparent" for the scrollbar-track color,, but when i checked on my page the scrollbar-track wasn't exactly transparent.. i was expecting to see the background image behind the scrollbar, but that didn't happen. can anyone help plz? i'm trying to get the scroll-bar to be see-through, not some weird "fuzzy" color.. thnxzz

You can't do that with plain HTML and CSS. The only way to get transparent scrollbars would be to turn off the normal ones and make your own image scrollers, then power them with JavaScript. Not really an ideal solution.
