Okay so I gave up. I'll do this in flash. But, now there's another problem! Of course.

As you see on the site I have a drop down menu. While the movie file is downloading the menu is accessable but not useable. Is there a way to allow my users to continue on and view the site without having to push the stop X on the browser?

This is all so silly. Why I can't just take my file and drop it onto the page without so much trouble. Nothings ever simple.

Thanks for everyone who's been helping me! :)

Well, I haven't received much help. I'm sick of fighting flash to get this to work. Quicktime has made inserting video in a feesibly small file so much more worthwhile to me I'll just have to deal with the Q loading screen. Thanks.

sounds like the problem is you wanted to do that movie in flash? problem with flash is it will not stream you have to wait for the video to load, then play, as opposed to a embeded movie that will stream the content.

Hi -
In terms of accessibility & usability it's always good practice
to provide text links in addition to any Flash navigation...
