Is there a really easy way to export a simple 10 colomn excel spreadsheet into XML? The only way I can see is to buy programs that will do it.

Well, I believe Excel 2002 and later have an XML option in the "Save As" dialogue. (I've only got Office 2000 on my PC, so can't verify that.)
