Help with compression

May be it's a stupid question but I can't compress a Flash file (becase I don't know how!). So my question: how to compress a Flash file?

are you talking about a *.swf file or the *.fla file?

to 'compress' a *.fla file, all you have to do is publish it, and it becomes a *.swf and is quite a bit smaller.

a *.swf can not be 'compressed' only way to make it run faster is to change the quality of the movie to 'low' or place it in a *.zip/*.rar file to compress the entire thing.

Hi -
While you can choose a setting when publishing your .fla
it's also good not to import too many images, or music,
or video - try loading external images & .swf's into it to
save the file size.

Ditto with motion & shape tweens - try to use AS instead!
