Attractive design

I'm trying to set up a page that has links to several journals of raves I've been to. Here's a basic idea of what I have now http://home.san.rr.com/gydiwon/test.html

It's just a long list of links and it looks pretty ugly. Does anyone know how to organize the links in a more appealing way?

yea sure .. i do agree it needs to be asthetically pleasing to be more easily browsable and as you go to more raves and add more links it will get more complex .. i would be inclined to put small box images with a brief text detailing underneath as a link through but even then it needs to be broken down .. i think you need to decide for yourself how though? do you want to sort it by rave genre, dates, bands, locations of raves etc? (i might be tempted to split it up in to raves and when they took place in the season but you know your visitors better than i do and what will appeal) Then maybe try splitting this up in to different sections so its all not just on one page. And finally when im designing pages or sites i get several a4 pieces and do rough sketches ... sometimes loads before settling on a kind of design i think will look good before i build it .. i would suggest this approach as well
