I have recently been learning how to do 3d rendering and animation. I am re-building from my website and I have an idea for something I would like to implement but I am unsure about how. I want to make a 3d model, and allow user interaction with it on my site, use it like a navigation system. Have It clickable and then rotate on mouse event. I am fully familiar with Photoshop, flash, HTML, javascript, java, PHP. I am doing a computing degree so am fairly computer literate but I am fairly new when It comes to graphics. I have thought of using flash to animate the 3d models but flash only supports 2D graphics. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

flash is probably the best way. i think some additional software like Swift can be used to make it 3D. i know next to nothing about Swift, not even it's website. but you could do a search for it. don't count on this being correct.

I looked at swift and downloaded the trial. It looks like a very good tool but I dont think it is compatible with blender which is the tool I am using. That shouldnt be a problem though cause I can do it in swift.

Do you know if there is a free tool similar to swift? Or a free version of swift???
