Is there a tutorial available that explain how to use cpanel ?

I , apparently , uploaded all my files in the root folder ( I am told ) and therefore cannot get the website to appear when I attempt to visit the site . I am told that I should have loaded the files in the www folder , but I do not know how to do that . Also , one file needs to be slightly changed. I have no idea how to go about making that change .

Some direction here will be greatly appreciated . I will gladly study a tutorial if one is available .

Many thanks , a struggling Newbie

Change your file before you upload it. I'm not really sure what you mean, but I'm almost sure you should be uploading files into the "public_html" folder?? What program are you uploading the files with? You should just be able to select the folder you want to upload to.

In terms of that tutorial, i just quickly searched it on google and got cpanels own one. It's quite large, but surely you'll find what you need.

Using CPanel's file manager, you can click the file's name on the left, click Move file, then click the folder www...this takes a long time and I still haven't figured out a quick way to do this using CPanel. If you are limited to using CPanel. Using the file manager,
I would delete all the files you uploaded. Click the folder icon next to "www", which will open the folder. Then upload all of them again.
