If I had to make one suggestion it would be to find someway to get rid of the vertical scroll bar.

It's there for a reason, on every website we do, and it will continue that way :)

So everyone can ignore that factor :)

1st your splash page takes WAY too long to load [and im on a T1 line]

2: in the basic site, leave the scroll bar, but you need to get rid of the extra space at the bottom so that there is no need to scroll unless someone is on a smaller resolution that 1024x768

3: you might want to encorporate something into the top left of the main page, with the logo to the far right, and the 'get directions' in the bottom left, and enhanced option in the bottom right, it seems sparce, so a logo might be needed, or reduce the size of the enhanced version options so that the eyes do not get pulled to the top left as if something was missing.

4: who ever did you enhanced site did an extranordinary job in the animations and ease of navigation

5:the graphics were very well done and feel for the sites are outstanding

1. We just sent this out to our entire clientale, so the reason the site may be lagging is there are ALOT of views going on right now.

2. It's there for a reason, see my post above.

3. We will look into this, thanks!

4. Our Internet Rich Application specialist is indeed very talented, I will pass along the kind words.

5. Thank you from our staff :)

Page is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too big. By the time the top two images have loaded the page has already downloaded about 200k and the whole page needs to be under 80k for half your visitors to wait for it to load and way smaller than that if you want most of them to see it.

Your advanced site is great. Without doubt your organization is very talented. I think everyone accepts that, but your wording for your reasoning comes across like no one can match your talents so shut up. I really don't think this is what you mean, but a better explaination would be better than saying:

It's there for a reason, on every website we do, and it will continue that way

So everyone can ignore that factor

If the reasoning for the vertical scroll sounded "abrupt" at best, search the forum for people that post to rip it apart, regardless of whether or not we mention it and/or defend it in the initial post. Even in this instance, though it was mentioned in the first post of the thread, the very next post was about it.

To tell you the truth, it took me a bit to get used to it, but now I prefer it to sites that don't do it.

as a desighner, i know you want people looking at the entire page, from borders to buttons you could say, however having a page scroll for no reason, always leaves people thinkging 'what goes here', so on that level I try not to make them scroll if at all necessary, but i NEVER remove the ability to. Reason being is you never know when someone with a different browser, or resolution visits, and needs to see everything.
