Flash Website

I have been assigned the task of developing an all flash website and only know the basics in actionscripting. If anyone could direct me to a book or tutorial that could guide me in developing the site from the ground up, I would be most appreciative. I thought that creating several swfs and loading them as needed to higher levels would help decrease the download time. If anyone has any insight on this please feel free to post.

check out my site, it might give you some ideas, it's all done in Flash, you'll see that all the pages loads seperately and from the pages you can go back to whichever page you like, it's a little bit of an Actionsctripting but not very confusing.

Great work on the site. Where'dya get the funky clock script? Gotta get hold of that for my current project. I have Sitepoint's Flash Anthology Book (that MIGHT help you Denn, be warned though it's all actionscript and maybe not specifically flash websites) but finding time to work through it is not easy.
As a student of web design I have to study the curriculum whether I want to learn it or not. My interests are web design (obviously) but specifically I want to learn to work with the back ends of online databases AND flash interfaces.
That's why I admire your work. I know that it's way beyond me to do that at present.

hey,

its always good to search on google for some flash tutorials on how to make flash websites. if u have a flash program such as flash MX, it should have inbuilt tutorials on the basics of making a flash website..remember its not that easy to make a flash website..u have to be pretty knowledgable bout it to know what u wana make.
