Hello -
I am using Front Page 2003

I have a table of pictures of products

Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Pic 4 Pic 5

and a box below the table which is a nice size to display a larger picture of the item. What I am trying to do is this: I would like the visitor to be able to click on pic 1 and in the box below see a larger version of Pic1 which would also have the respective "add to car" button....if they then click pic 2, the pic in the box below would then be the larger Pic2 with that respect e-commerce code.

Is this possible? Could someone please provide me with some direction on this or to a faq article? I would really love this effect for my page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you.

Doubt this is achievable with FrontPage unless you are able to write the entire thing with javascript yourself. Macromedia products are your best bet. There are 2 ways you could achieve this. The first would be to use Fireworks and place the pictures on different frames, use the swap image behaviour, then export the finished page to Dreamweaver and insert the html into your web page. The second way would be to build the page in Dreamweaver, place the pictures in layers and use the show/hide layers behaviour. You would need to do a google for tutorials on either of these.

I'm not sure what you mean by "with that respect e-commerce code" though.

Hi,

I dont use frontapge, however for ease of use, there are some good thumbnail and image gallery creators online, that are free.

try google for a list (http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=thumbnail+creator+gallery&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official)

although a couple of them seem to still be using framesets..

all the best,
