How to build site for fashion?

I'm a beginner in e-business, but I have time and a little money to develop my skills))) I have built site. www.bypics.com I'm going to develop it and now it is just ALPHA version (don't be very severe to me)
On this site users can post pictures with their tattoo or show there style to other users, ask questions about style or hair, discuss and advise. This site is like forum but for topics where visual information is important.
How do you think is this site useful for people who want to discuss their style, heir and tattoo? This is just ALPHA version and I want to develop this site. First, how do you like this idea about forum for topics where visual information is impotrant ? Is it possible to develop it into popular site?

Well the site review forum is about the best match for advice here. One recommendation I'd make would be to explicitly set the body background to white.

First of all how does this site reflect the Business portion? It seems to reflect a fun site much like where people can go to share.

Second, if the site is about Fashion, how do the pets fit in? I'm also confused with the photos at the top; whales and the road, how do those relate to fashion?

Third, At first glance, I'm not sure what to do--a little confused. create a homepage that provides your users more information about what you do and entices them to sign up.

So far thats my input. I hope that wasn't harsh... but from the looks of things, I think if your going into business on the web, create your business plan first. That will help you define your business goals, direction, target market, etc... You can even do a simple one.
