navigation tabs

I'm in need of "Yahooish like" navigation tabs. Please see this link for an example: http://news.yahoo.com/

The only difference I really need is the on state - I need the color to be a deep burgandy instead of the deep blue. Almost similiar to the coloring of this forum..

Your new here so I'm going to lay this out in the simplest way I can....

only ask and expect help or answers publicly at this forum. your PM comment is not how this site works.

Now what your looking for is simple at best!... It can be done a couple of ways, but I'm guessing your new at this so, simply a table with a background image, then us CSS to create a link set to not do underlining or change in color...

Apologies. Didn't realize everything was done publicly. Was just looking to hire somebody to handle this portion of my needs is all. Appreciate you spelling that out simply. Not sure why you'd need to handle it any other way, but that's just me.

As for this being simple, that's fantastic! I was wanting something of a simple solution. Again, if this isn't a place to inquire about hiring a professional, my apologies. I can usually handle xhtml, css stuff - at least the rudimentary stuff. But, when it comes to graphic creation I'm absoutley no use.

Love the forum. Lot's of great info here.
