I have just joined a co that sends out email newsletter (not unsolicited spam) I have found that they are using font tags and fixed width tables. I would like to say top them that they don't conform to the WCAG guidelines but before I do I want to make sure that these guidelines also apply to email adverts and newsletters as they are html.
Is this right?
Thanks

Yes The WCAG applies to email. But... email clients may have a way to go before they support Web standards enough to do fancy CSS layouts :(

So far as I know, only Opera's email client can properly handle CSS, well, so far proper as Opera's web browser can. It still won't pass acid2, though.
