When posting, tell us the DBMS you are using. Often, if it is a SQL syntax question, the specific db doesn't matter (though sometimes it does). If it is an administration or performance issue, no one can answer without knowing what db you are talking about.

For example, we might give you a perfectly valid answer for mySQL that doesn't work at all in MSSQL Server or Oracle or DB2 or MSACCESS or...
