Right for starters go easy on me cos I am no pro.
The site is not yet finishd but would like some feedback on it anyways so I can make some alterations that maybe suggested if it sounds good.

You will soon see my design skills suck and then my coding skills are not much better yet either but would like to hear some ideas from you.

I like your site. I didn't spend alot of time, but did run around in it.
At 1st glance, I'd only say that some of the text is either too light or to small to make it easy to read. Look your site over for readability.
Great Job so far.

Na I have never used one yet.
I am going to make my next site using CMS to get some experiance in using them aswell as gain the advantages of using CMS.
I have played around with forums and directorys so I have had a tiny bit of experiance using things that use PHP and SQL.
But my next site I might make a dummie business site so I can see how to make a CMS and shopping cart site work.

Hey John,
I'd just add that if you have a forum attached to your site it would be cool to have them both with the same color theme, like that it feels that the forum is part of your site.
Also I liked your css rollover left menu, I think the site would look better if you made a css navigation menu for the banner menu as well...

The forum is an old one that is not used anymore and it is on a free account with PHPBB hosts and they dont offer FTP accees for them.
I should get rid of it really as I say it is old and dont get used now anyways as I am always to busy doing other stuff now.
