It might look better if it was centered in the browser page.

The tabs at the top change as I navigated... but then I realized why..... Instead of moving the clicked tab to the left of the page and put inside the brackets, I suggest leaving the all the tabs in place and just move the brackets. (hmmm, was that confusing?)

Otherwise, I think it looks nice.

I would also say, that if it was centered on the page it would help draw the eye to your content.

I like the navigation, however I think that the text under the images should also hilight, or the icon you are hovering over should in some way deonte what you are about to do.

It's too busy for my taste. The cluttered look sort of reminds me of a campy commercial - I don't know why exactly; it might be the overload of text and images in one central area, especially since the font isn't consistent.

I like the navigation bar, although something to enhance the images during the hover event might be nice. Possible incorporating a border which could also change colors might be an option.

Lastly, you need to validate (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.newwebimage.com%2F) your coding. You are missing a DOCTYPE statement, and have scripting above your beginning <head> tag. You've also "old school" tables coding, which usually doesn't sit well in the web developer forum, and doesn't rate well with w3c validation/standards.
