I think the idea of my site is good) What do you think about it?

I built site for pet lovers - www.bypics.com (it's just alpha version now) The main idea of this site is to give users comfortable ability to show and discuss their pets. (this site is something between forum and photo service) How do you like this idea? Do you think is it possible to develop this idea into really popular site?

I think your site is a great idea! Seeing the turtles reminded me of trying to catch painters when I was about 10 yrs old. Not many people dislike talking about their pets. I have a black lab (f) and a chocolate lab (m). Both are about 5 years old and over 100 lbs each...came from big families. My next pup I think will be a pocket dog, like a chihuahua or something similar. My wife wants a hedgehog, although not sure if we can actually purchase one here...

I think it holds water. I am a pet lover (dogs) and I see where you are going with this. Neat idea!

I suggest a section for pet adoptions. There are a lot of people out there looking to adopt pets, like myself :-) Owww Owww - what about something like - best picture of the week! I can see it now - all the cute puppies with bows and hats! Awwwww!

DESIGN:
Nice and clean look, but a little more color wouldn't hurt.

Its hard to read the ratings and comments line. Make a darker.

Make the backround with you and your love darker so there's no confusion... it stumped me when I clicked on the Turtle and the Cat categories and there was that cute puppy!

For example police can post picture of somebody and promise money for information about him?:) How do you like this idea?

It's a good idea. The title/address of your website doesn't make me think of pets at all. You might add a subtitle to you title metatag, so when this shows up in search engine results or is bookmarked, people will know it's a pet site.
