I'm working on a new site that is basically a sports newspaper. It mostly covers things about younger kids that our local paper doesn't cover - stuff like JV sports at the High School, Junior High sports, kids summer league soccer and baseball, and some activities at our park and YMCA.
I was wondering if anyone here had worked for a school (or other) newspaper and knew anything about press passes. I'm not covering all these sports myself, mostly parents are contributing articles, but I do plan on going to several and don't really want to be paying all the time. Any ideas?
