Hi! I am in desperate need of free full DVD player software that can make good screenshots (preferably full screen) and open media files (including DivX files).
I already have NERO showtime, and an expired version of IntervideoDVD. Any suggestions?

What I'm planning is to use it to make some screenshots to help me out in an art project I'm doing soon.

OK, I installed a new version of Nero showtime, and I can get screenshots of DivX videos. At one point in time I could get screenshots of regular DVDs, but now I can't! What's wrong?

Ehh im not keen on nero ... i use shrink to encode, sonic to burn and divx player with region free software to watch .. with div player i can take screenshots, and also it uses far less system resources than windows media player or intervideodvd

I just found this, it does not look trust worthy though. What do you guys think?

You used to be able to get them off divx player easily (cant remember which version) but i havnt used it in ages (recently got this laptop on insurance and not had chance to replace some software) .. il try getting hold of the new version and see if its on there ... i dont like trials either sunny but some software is er-em hard to get hold of easily ... is it a full install with just an expiration on the license?? trying to think of the name of a certain "tool" ... called something like soft-ice (il have a look for it)
