Hey everyone!
I'm new to all of this and I'm sure this has been answered 100 times on this board, but I'm not sure where to look. I appreciate your help.
I have my site hosted for me... for example, by Yahoo Web Hosting. I want to know how to get Camtasia or Flash files to play on my site. I have no idea where to begin. Here's my dilemma... I can upload the files to a folder, but I don't know how to point my browser to the files.
I clearly don't know what I'm doing. I'm a total novice. I'm getting frustrated because I've tried everything I know how.
If you could help me out by either posting here or emailing me, I'd appreciate the help.

Steve, number 1 rule... don't get frustrated. If you’re prone to getting frustrated then give it up and stop using the computer. Learning the computer and the internet is a long drawn out process. I got my first computer in 1989, and by most standards I am an expert. Having said that, I must admit that I am NOT an expert at everything. There are many things I know nothing about. Look at it this way, why do you think there are so many specialties with doctors? It’s because no one person can learn it all. There is as much to learning computers as there is to learning medicine. Consider the different languages. Basic, C, C++, Cobol, Fortran, Java, Pascal, Perl, Php, CGI, Postscript, Html, etc, etc, etc. You have to enjoy learning to really enjoy the computer and the internet. Every new thing you’ll learn must be looked at as an adventure. After 17 years I learn something new EVERY DAY… I kid you not. It is a wonderful feeling to find the answer to a problem you’re having. So don’t get frustrated with your computer and enjoy it. This site and the people who belong to this site are here to help.
Now to your problem. Yahoo and AOL are not on the list of host I would use, especially AOL. They're more concerned about your money than your enjoyment. Both have limitations on what you can do and how you can do it, but for the time being, and considering that you are a novice, stay where you are. Once you get a few months/years on the keyboard you’ll understand what I mean and get a better hosting site.
Other than that, I will need a little more information about what you’re trying to do to help you. Are you trying to create a website and are you trying to get flash programs to work on your site? Or… are you trying to just watch flash programs? What operating system are you using? Are you using a PC or a Mac? Anytime you need help always post exactly what you’re trying to accomplish and what you’re using.
