Here you go try adding these to your pages code.
Replace you body tag for this.

<body style="text-align:center; margin:0 auto;">

Or even better keep this in the CSS in the head of your page or in a seperate CSS file if you use them.

body {
text-align: center;
margin: 0 auto;
}

I dont really have a clue what your sayin now.

You asked how to center something and I told ya.

You have not even given a link to the site so I can see it properly you keep posting these screen shots.

The coding is a nightmare cos you have used Front Page to make the site

I am not sure how your site is at the min and it would be much easyer if I could go to it and work out your problem.

I am still not sure what you really want anymore.

Do you want it 100% of the screens width now then?

n00b12
05-02-2006, 05:59 AM
yes sir. i want it to be 100% with in the screen in ny monitor resolution. is that posible sir?

Whoa! That's gotta be the worst use of <blockquote> i've ever seen.

The code that johneva gave you before will be ignored because your body is set to absolute positioning.

I think the best way for us to help you is if you go into code view again, select all (ctrl+a) and paste it here in the forum.

Oh yeah good point fella.

And yeah he is right you also have lots of code that is not right and we need to see the whole lot properly.

We need either the whole code copy and pasted in here or a link to a URL for the page.

Man, whoever designed this forum and whoever the theme for this forum seem to have forgotten two things:

overflow:visible; so, the whole page isn't stretched when something wider than usual is inserted into the page.
forcing spaces in something that's too wide for the page.

As for your question, just put <div style="text-align:center"> </div> around the image. Like so:

BEFORE (if you can't find it, select the image before clicking "HTML" at the bottom, the following HTML, with 'etc' replaced with whatever, will be selected):

<img src="etc">

AFTER:

<div style="text-align:center"><img src="etc"></div>

You see, that solution isn't going to work correctly either, primarly because every element on the page is either positioned absolutly or is positioned with hundreds of non-breaking spaces (&nbsp;)
