How is this possible?

POST 1, Someone's email to me dated
Apr 30, 2006 12:04 PM (1 day ago)

POST 2, my reply to them dated
May 1, 2006 4:39 PM (1 hour ago)

POST 3, their reply back dated
Apr 30, 2006 7:50 PM (21 hours ago)

POST 4, my reply back dated
May 1, 2006 4:47 PM (50 minutes ago)

It seems his email server is around 1 day behind...

I clicked on the "Show Original" link for each reply and I got the times:

Mon, 1 May 2006 09:57:48 -0600 (MDT)
Mon, 1 May 2006 16:39:32 -0700 (PDT)
Mon, 1 May 2006 17:43:35 -0600 (MDT)
Mon, 1 May 2006 16:47:57 -0700 (PDT)

which is

Mon, 1 May 2006 08:57:48 -0700 (PDT)
Mon, 1 May 2006 16:39:32 -0700 (PDT)
Mon, 1 May 2006 16:43:35 -0700 (PDT)
Mon, 1 May 2006 16:47:57 -0700 (PDT)

I checked my email at 5:37 PM (PDT) so the times should read:

POST 1, Someone's email to me dated
May 1, 2006 8:57 AM (8 hours 40 minutes ago)

POST 2, my reply to them dated
May 1, 2006 4:39 PM (1 hour ago)

POST 3, their reply back dated
May 1, 2006 4:43 PM (54 minuntes ago)

POST 4, my reply back dated
May 1, 2006 4:47 PM (50 minutes ago)

Those are the real times the emails should read. It seems Gmail is messing-up with the times, last time I rely on Gmail's clock.

looks like someone needs to fix those bugs... i am sure someone has mentioned it or spotted it...

Isnt Gmail still in beta anyways ?
