I designed the page years ago, and I am thinking of changing the layout, even the colors. The articles were not written by me, so don't criticize their liook or contents.

Specifics -

- the design is really outdated, from a comparative standpoint; look at other sites similar to yours, find the best design, then try to do better than that.
- the layout isn't clean; there are alignment problems (in IE) that make the design very unprofessional
- the photos are neither optimized for the web, nor for your particular layout; in some instances they are distorted to fit certain constraints you've set, which do not exactly match the original height/width of the image
- colored scrollbar = very retro: a flashback to the 90's
