Okie this probably isn't the right place to ask this but since so far I've found the people here to be profoundly smart and wise :) I will ask away. I'm looking to by a domain name but theres a couple things I'm confused about. Firstly, you buy the domain name and the website email but then there is a thing something about webnow and you buy pages in 5 or 20 sorta deal. Now in a website when you click on a link off you main page like say u have a review sectino or a forum section...is each of those seperate pages? Like if you have a list of things on a page and then a next button and you click it to get to the next page...does all these count as seperate pages? I'm so confused any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!!!!

I would say the answer is probably yes.

Okie I don't think I made much sense with my question cause not really getting any replies lol. So first let me change my question to WHERE do I go if I want to purchase a domain name for a website?

There are lots of places who sell them cheaply, but you probably need to tell us what country you're in to get the best for you.
In Europe, www.oneandone.co.uk are the best. They are quite cheap, but the service is excellent.
I don't know about America though.
I register all my domain names at http://www.godaddy.com
You may try a few of the following well known registrar
http://registerfly.com
http://domain.com
http://register.com
http://netsol.com

Oh BTW...
If all of the above does not make any sense...then deposit some $$$$$$ (emphasis is on 5 figure) in my swiss bank account(wink) and I'll go through the trouble of buyng one for you..:D
EDIT
Heck I'll host the darn website for you..:p

I believe that lunitari_8100 was referring specifically to webnow.com.
and the answer to your question about pages is YES.
And ultimately.... webnow.com wants you to exceed the free stuff (which is almost a given) so that they can begin to start charging you for the upgrade.
some will see this as a deal...
some will see it as a scam.
it depends on your needs (and you can't have too many needs... or else you'll definitely need to pay for the upgrade).
just sayin' ....

When you buy a domain at Godaddy.com <--(Pyro is right it's the best place to get a name at).
DO NOT host it with them... only do the domain registration. Then find a host, since the forum and other pages for a site do not come with the domain name. Those have to be made by someone like myself or the thousands of other members here who design websites for a living.
At this point don't worry about the amount of pages however focus on getting what you think you might need for a site. Mainly what I'm refering to is content, what is your site going to be about, why are people going to come to your site and read it.
