I got a trialversion of this swf compiller and am not sure how to use it. I have a 4Mb swf file which im trying to edit but the produced fla file doesn't want to open?

I know Flash is kind of picky about using .fla files from different versions, maybe that's the prob?

What is it telling you when it doesn't open? Is it just crashing or are you getting an error message?

No error message...It just takes forever and the program crashes, I have Macronedia Flash MX2004 if that tell;s you anything. Can I send you the swf file and then let me know it its my program?

Sure, post a link, I'll have a look at it.

But keep in mind I've only ever decompiled an swf once myself, so no promises I'll be of any help. :p

SWF docempiler is pretty good tool but not perfect. You'll always run into swf that you can't decompile properly.
