He there, i've only just learnt HTML/CSS, and have been putting together a website to teach myself the basics.

Needless to say, interested in benefiting from any more experienced opinions. Check it out:

Looks better than my first site did - but then I did code mine in Wordpad.

The only thing that I would change would be the logo - I think it looks ugly and choppy - apart from that it looks pretty stylish. Well done.

Very good the site passes XHTML validation.

I like the design and the colours. Your Firfox logo seems to be custom- I'd never seem that one before. Nice touch. As a matter of fact- all of your graphics are nice. I do agree with ChiefNX in that the banner has to go. It's the only thing ruining an otherwise perfect site.

Rats, I like that logo. Makes me wonder how many other people are put off by it now!

Thanks for taking the time to have a look though. You should have seen some of the ugly-ass permutations it went through before arriving at that. The javascript that rounds all the corners is this one (http://webdesign.html.it/articoli/leggi/528/more-nifty-corners/1/) by a guy called Alessandro Fulciniti. It's a fantastic tool, simple and versatile.
