Anyone have suggestions or comments? One thing in particular I need advice on is the color of the navbar links (should I make them match the nomral text color) ?

Still needs some work. Looks like a personal site or a blog template. You will also get lots of flack for using tables. I personally do not mind using them once in a while, but what you have, could have been done using pure CSS.

Also, I am picky when it comes to "contact" pages. I am a big advocate of using forms on a contact page. I hate having to open my email software and have to type than send an email for contacting thru a site when it can be done using a form. Statistically, visitors will be 78% more likely to contact you if you have a form (Thru my own usability research from 2000-2006 N=189)

The premise appears to be good. Just needs a little more of that "branded" look such as the use of a logo or header

You want your navbar to stick out. I think the navbar and colors are fine.

thanks for the comments tylivia, I will take your advice on the contact form and get that up as soon as I get a chance. Also, I saw that you said the site looks like a personal site or blog so I would like to know your suggestions on making the site look more professional.
