Hi,
My team and I have constructed a web portal for the country of Lebanon (Middle East) at bluleb.com. Any suggestions concerning design or user accessibility are most welcome.
Thanks!
Robert

For someone with bad eyesight, like me, everything seems much too light. There's not enough contrast to scan the page quickly.

yeah, all the font is in the same color, even the links. I would put a box around the links on the right... try to come up with a way to organize all your content to make it easy to read/find.

Hi,
Yes, you're right about the content: it is kinda disorganized...
I will take your advice into consideration.
Thanks!

The premise of the site is good. I agree with all of the comments above. Text is hard to see and poor organization. Also some links have {text-decoration: underline;} and some don't.
Make sure that your links stand out and are consistent in style and color.
The AdWords and Search bar should not be at the top as they initially confuse a user into having to look for a place to click within your site and question where your main navigation is. The Search bar links at the top initially gives the impression of Site navigation.
Try moving these off to the right side column or somewhere below you main navigation. Web Usability standards require that the space at the top of the page and left columns should be used for site navigation.
Also, use larger text "<h1>" for your News/Categories as this will be a good way to start when organizing your site.
The confirmation codes for your Polls and "Create a Poll" are very difficult to see.
