Sounds like a font issue. I am not sure how browsers display non-standard fonts. But, you can look here if need be.

Unless you import dynamic fonts, the only person able to see the font you want to use would be the ones who have downloaded the font. Instead, it's good to use a graphic in the place of the text instead. If the font is not installed on the visitor's system, the font that will be displayed would be the default font for that browser.

You could use WEFT to embed the font, and css to specify an alternate.
