hi guys,
php was founded in 1994 and i knew about it only in 2001...and it took me a year to learn it well so it's almost 8 years...
how do i know about new programming languages..is there any site i can visit regularly..??

the php started in 1994 is much different than what it is today. it used to be a simple CGI application that allowed you to create extensions/modules for home pages. Today it has grown to be its own language.

well the latest tecnology I knowo about is Ruby (http://www.rubyonrails.org/) and I don't know how to keep on date with the new stuff, the only thing I can think of is slashdot or digg

man..you are right..im planning on learning .NET but whenever i think of the webhosting cost and 5 CDs installation..and immediately change my mind..lots of ways and i dunno where to go...basically im a software developer..and i have ended up here in web designing..lol
