Hi
Checking out the hit stats for my 'preview' site (customers get to preview their site before it goes online) I found 'The Top 6 of 6 Browsers Sorted by Access Count' to be:
1) MSIE 6.0; Windows ME
2) Ask Jeeves/Teoma
3) MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; Win 9x 4.90
4) W3C_Validator/1.305.2.12 libwww-perl/5.64
5) MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1
6) Netscape 5.0
What is number 2 all about? I think the site has been crawled by a robot - there's a 'file not found' for robots.txt, but how is 'ask' now a browser?
any ideas appreciated
thanks
Dave
