Adding a redirect to a tell a friend script

I have just implemented a tell a friend script on a site and when the user clicks the submit button they get a message advising them, thank you your message has been sent to your friend however I would like to have the page return to the site so they can continue browsing without having to click the back button.

What do I need to add to the code below to get that to happen

Change this

echo "<center><font face='Verdana' size='2' color=green>Thank You, Your message posted to $f_name</font></center>";

to this

header("Location: ".$ref);

That will send you to the page that they came from
