Wireless Connection

I have a Linksys Wireless-b router. My laptop that has a wireless-b card picks it up fine, but another laptop with a wireless-g card, which is supposed to be capable of connecting to a, b and g signals, will not establish a connection; it finds the signal but doesn't received an automatically assigned IP address. Very rarely an IP will be obtained, but then the signal is lost a few seconds later. Any thoughts?

Nevermind. I changed the wireless channel from 6 to 11; that seems to have fixed it. Don't know why, but it works so I don't care. :D

U would have another wireless divice that is confecting :)
