Hello friends! I just learned webdesigning and started designing site locally. I have launched my own website recently. I want to know what you people think about my site. Please review my site so that I can learn what mistakes I have done. Thanks a lot.
My site is www.taurusarts.com

"Just learned". Yeah, right. Anyway, good work. Some texts are a little light, I would increase contrast between them and background.

You 'just learned' - yet you're offering professional web development and hosting?!
Fine...I still have a lot of points to make.
Your overall design is good, but there are a lot of small things that could be improved. It is these small things that turn a good design into a 'professional quality' website (personally I don't really like that term).
1) You provide a link on your site to W3C Schools, yet my validator shows that you have 38 errors/warnings. If you're going to offer web design, I think your page ought to have Valid XHTML. As a show of confidence, a lot of websites have a validation link somewhere in the margin so that users can see that the website is of good quality.
2) The links to the left would look and load better if they were not images. Also, the title image beneath them looks a bit odd.
3) The text links at the bottom are not aligned properly, you should check you CSS code. This is more of a problem in Firefox than IE, but as Firefox is generally better at rendering pages than IE, I suggest you take a look at it.
4) Your link to Web Reference looks ugly and clashes with the rest of the site. If you're desperate to include the link, you should find a better picture.
5) Your overall image quality is poor. Your main logo especially (not the one to the left, but the one with the mouse and the spider) will detract from the appeal of the site. If you're serious about web developing, you should consider Photoshop. GIMP is also very good for web graphics.
6) I don't really understand why you have a google search box at all. It seems very unnecessary.
Well, I hope that didn't put you off too much. :p
I hope it helps. :D

- darken up the main text, it has too much white in it.
- darken up some of the blue text. not the headers, but the body text.
The bottom links: Home | About | Solutions | Web Development | Flash Programming | Website Maintenance
These could be a little bit larger in size.
I like the choice of colors too.
Ditch the multiple tables layout and validate (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.taurusarts.com%2F) your coding.
Your website is a representation of the work you produce. Invalid code and "old school" coding techniques aren't good for your portfolio.
