Hi all, i am new in the field and trying to find a solution for a problem we are having. We have a company to build a website for us and also a shopping cart. We set up an email dedicated to the web. Emails came from our website did not go to the dedicated email address, instead it went to my personal email address.

Example: we assigned web@brand.com for the website question box. Each time an email came from the website question box, it goes to winhalley@hotmail.com. And web@brand.com did not receive any email.

We tried to send an email to web@brand.com from other outlook emails and it goes to web@brand.com just fine. ONLY emails from the website does not go to web@brand.com but winhalley@hotmail.com.


1. Developer has looked at the coding and find nothing wrong with it.
2. We looked at our email hosting account and make sure there is no forward to my personal email address.
3. We tested different email addresses, but it still goes to my personal email. Example: We changed web@brand.com to order@brand.com. Still, does not solve the problem.

But we could not find the problem.

Please help! anybody experience this situation ?

I guess somewhere a "catch-all" email address has been configured to forward all emails to winhalley@hotmail.com.
